| Bought a Domain
Yes, I went ahead and purchsed JohnStuff.net. However, it will be a few
days (possibly the first of next week) before I get it online and ready to go. I will post a notice here
when it is ready to be viewed. I am excited to have a site dedicated to
this blog. I am looking forward to doing some fun things with it.
I already have a small list of things I want to talk about when I get it going.

| My Own Domain
I'm thinking quite strongly about getting a domain for JohnStuff. It
would probably have to be a .net or .org address since someone already
has the .com under JohnStuff.
I am thinking that this would give me more flexibility as to content
and the ability to tweak my blog more the way I want. Perhaps I will
get this done during the holidays.
I will post a notice here if and when it happens.

| Gift Card
I took an item back to Wal-Mart the other evening. They gave me a
shopping card for the value of the purchase. I was going to shop there
anyway so no problem. But I really would have preferred the
cash. What if I had wanted to take my money and shop at K-Mart
instead?
Just say no to gift cards!
